(October 10, 2003) Scott
Slocum has created a new company
that does for broadcasters what an
independent insurance agent does for
his clients – created a
"whole-station" company
that can assist with broadcast
software and hardware needs across
the board.
TurnKey Media Systems is working
with radio and television clients
throughout North America who may
have several favorite types of
software, but are frustrated with
the inability to create interfaces
between the various applications.
TurnKey Media is offering new
and used digital audio systems, and
stocks some used parts for systems
such as the popular (now discontinued) DCS™ and
Maestro™ units, a system that’s
sold new by Slocum’s former
employer, Computer Concepts
Corporation.
For music scheduling, TurnKey
Media Systems represents Music1,
which was written entirely in
Windows™. The paperless studio is another
area of interest for TurnKey Media
Systems' customers. The Arctic Palm
products, CS Copy Management, and CS Contest Management,
help to streamline and simplify copy
and contest management,
respectively, and the Center Stage module handles customizable RDS signalling.
TurnKey Media Systems also has a
number of well-trained and
experienced technicians, trainers
and programming consultants on-call
to assist with stations’ needs.
